Here I Lay
As new hands graze my fresh made face
The smell of rain
Will fade as tear drops melt away
This remains
Through dew and fog and frost and haze
I lost myself in parallels with quantum quarks and sense of place
I see you
Shimmering like morning dew
Vectors line the windows as the color bleeds right through
You will fade
The worlds too large to stay awake
I drift between the fibers in a mirror image fake
And I ask one last time
Is it me you were looking for
I have spent too much time
Tripping over my tongue in a quickly fleeting life
