बुद्धं शरणं गच्छामि ।
Buddhaṃ saraṇaṃ gacchāmi
To pain and pleasure don't cling
What you think you become
The mind is everything
This is the true outcome
The ignorant man is an ox
He always grows in size
And he never grows wise
The wisdom means learning, not talks
अनत्त।
Anatta
The world is afflicted
By cruel death and huge decay
The wise man is not addicted
To it, grieves in no way
One must never kill
And nor cause another to kill
One must practise nonviolence
We all tremble at violence
We all fear death
Do protect every single breath
धम्मं शरणं गच्छामि ।
Dhammaṃ saraṇaṃ gacchāmi
To win or to lose
Killing is always forbidden
Three things cannot be long hidden
The sun, the moon and the truth
Conquer the wicked by goodness
The liar by the truth
And the suffering soothe
Share compassion and kindness
सर्वं दुक्खम्।
Sarvaṃ dukkhaṃ
सर्वं अनित्यम्।
Sarvaṃ anityaṃ
All is suffering
All is passage
Through wisdom you clearly see
The four noble truths and you are free
And the eight noble steps you take
So that all suffering to break
The hatred is never appeased
By hatred in this world
Non-hatred is the word
Love is the true law, if you please
संघं शरणं गच्छामि ।
Saṅghaṃ saraṇaṃ gacchāmi
As a mother protects her child
With her life, with endeavour
Cultivate love and be mild
Towards all beings forever
Better than worlds
Of thousand words
Is a word of peace
That is all there is
A world of love and peace
A world of love and peace
निःसारणं निब्बानम्।
Nissāraṇaṃ nibbānaṃ
