A lighthouse beacons clear across the Atlantic
A swirling tree resembles a monster
Forever with joy I'll remember you, jester
An ocean wave crests upon the salty air
Your continued well being is our ultimate care
Here's to all the good times we seagulls shared
Harmony, jams, a rally in the square
Fresh air for all who dared
Run hard, not fast, as the tortoise beats the hare
At the end of your tunnel there shines a light
Universal moonbeams are caught in your eye
Onward calls your sandy footstep
And in my mind you've etched a sweet, sweet picture
And when the bough breaks we pick out our friends
Lovers and brothers and peace-lovin' tunes
Glaciers of clay are drifting away from us now
Along the rocky shoreline of shells and sand
Of all the pursuits of man
Ours has been one of visions grand
Our roses are pale now and dead
Like a sadness, dried out, they hang over our heads
But still shinning bright
Reflecting beauty and light
The memory of their once glowing life
Brings a smile to my heart...
