Turn down the lights of this room
Here I am sitting side by side with you
This room shrinking around us, around us
Where, tell me, where to go
I draw a door on the empty wall
Should I put my arms around you right here and right now
Or wait until tomorrow
Should I utter words of truth to you now
To lift this lingering sorrow
Waiting for the paint to dry
These must be the longest hours of my life
You just silently sit there
Absorbed in unfathomable thoughts
Could we a conversation now
Or gaze at these floors some more
Would you treat me with some dignity
Or rage on until tomorrow
I enter the image
Thus becoming the room
The lights are getting brighter
I do see you
