Modblog - Holiday Lyrics

Here we come a-caroling,
Among the leaves so green!
Here we coma a-wandering,
So fair to be seen!

Love and joy come to you,
And to you glad Christmas too...

~more songs from the piano book

(next I'll be posting the 12 days of Christmas...lol -
yeah, I'm not kidding either, babe :)

That's the fun of it.
I might only have a red sled in my apartment right
now that my dad made for me, along with my sibilings.
But, I have these great song that I used to play on
this really old, out of tune piano from the time I was 6
until I was 18 and moved out of the house.

Sure, these are very obscure tunes that nobody knows
and what the hell is a ha'penny?
Well, in the book at the bottom of the page, it explained
to this curious...I don't know...7 or 8 yr old at the time, that
a ha'penny was a 'half penny' that was used as currency
in Europe by the poor. Yep, you guessed it. It's worth was
equivalent to one half of a penny. It's pronounced,
'hay-penny'.

Yeah, holidays...
