When I think of the goodness
Of this Saviour of mine
When I think of His holiness
'Cause He is divine
I just stop and ponder
What did He see in me
That He'd come to earth to suffer
In such agony (but)
(But)(yes)
He thought I was worth it
I'll never know why
He was willing to suffer
And for my sins die
I was a worthless sinner
But not in His eyes
I was a precious soul
A most valuable prize
When I think of the comforts
And the beauties of home
Where He's king and master of all
And sits on His throne
Why He would forsake it
For such a worm as I
But if I was the only one
He'd still come to die (yes)
