Jesus is my anchor
My port in a storm
Though the chain may strain greatly
He still holds me fast
Yes He is my shelter
Keeps me safe and warm
And He hold me tightly
Till the storm has passed
Though winds may lash and try to smash
This vessel
Though I am frail, He'll never fail
Or let me go
Though waves may be tall and angry
They will fail
For He protects me from the angry sea
And its undertow
Jesus is my harbour
Where I'll safely hide
While the storm of life rages
And tries to destroy
He is my breakwater
That holds back the tide
And anchors me safely
Still in His employ
Though winds may whip this fragile ship
I'll survive
He'll captain me o'er an angry sea
And keep me alive
