They quickly arose went seeking to find
And soon found Christ Jesus in swaddling clothes
There in a manger with straw for His bed
The king of heaven in His earthly repose

Wise men came later following a star
Bearing gifts of riches to give to the child
Did not tell Herod they had found the king
Through whom God and man could now be reconciled
