We know not the hour, we know not the day
When Jesus will call us, and take us away
Well, just be ready, and looking for Him
May He find us working, and avoiding all sin
For when He calls us, to come up there
May we be ready, and may we hear
Not be left behind, when others disappear
For we'll have no time, to quickly prepare
We know not the month, we know not the year
When Jesus will call us, and take us up there
But if we're watching, with lamps trimmed with oil
When He closes that door, there'll be no denial
For when the groom comes, out of the East
And when He calls us, up to that feast
Be dressed and ready, to enter inside
Those that come too late, are surely denied
