You can take a man, by his hand, and lead him for a time
And maybe he, will finally see, unless of course, he's blind
You can tell him of, our Saviour's love, and how much He cares
He may believe, he may receive, it depends how deaf his ears
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink
You can lead a man to the truth, but you can't make him think
You can show a man, Father's plan, but can't make him receive
For he will choose, to win or lose, by what he will believe
You can show a man, Father's plan, through His Son's sacrifice
Try to explain, through His pain and shame, how He paid our price
But it's up to him, to shed his sin, or carry it still
You can't force feed, the truth they need, or force them against their will
