Spring begins with the dry leaves left to rake
Cause we were busy preparing for the flu season.
Do you regret it now, for not tying up your lose ends from the past?
There's always time, so don't give me pointless reasons
Upon this rock I remember how firm I used to be
Then I caught myself losing balance again
It was there concept of time ceased in my head
Everything I needed to live has left me mostly dead
But wait, give me a minute to confess my crime
Not for neglecting my neighbor, but casting aside myself to the ground
And all I wanted now was to fill the void that's making me sink
This black keeps pulling at my feet until I drown
So love the Spring, for she is young every year
Instead of lusting for youth that's slowly fades in the mirror
And cherish the sun, for she is full of golden hair
For one day she'll be gone after her final flare burns out
