Tear drops fall on the deck
Heaven's gates have went unchecked
Coral rays and floral scents
Fill the air through an open vent
A fog hangs from overhead
Calls your name from your bed
A siren sings her overture
You weren't sure but you noticed that
You've fallen way down
And there's no way out it seems
Suddenly your standing on a scale that never fails
Weighing your soul next to a feather's
Look down to the ground you're about a thousand feet above the clouds
Just holding on to thin air
They bring you home and steer you in
To where it ends and you begin
A ball of clay, a formless limb
An unobscured amorphous twin
You formulate the words to try
To justify for your sins
As a crowd of judges dressed in stolen robes
Stare down their noses for your skin
Suddenly your standing on a scale that never fails
Weighing your soul next to a feather's
Look down to the ground you're about a thousand feet above the clouds
Just holding on to thin air
And the sound of rain makes me happy
And a cloudy day comes through your blind
And the flower ladies are all budding
Don't let the Venus fly trap you inside
