I'll tell you all the story of Beauty
A long-legged high-heeled lady
She ruled the streets like she was a queen
She was hot and black and mean
Beauty fell in love with a girl
Who was white like a string-of-pearls
Her name was Mandy Moans-in-the-Morning
She was a curse and she was a blessing
Well I ain't no demon sister
But I ain't no angel too
Before you can walk on me
I'm gonna walk out the door on you
Late one night at The Blue Dog
Full of whiskey and beer and gin
Beauty saw her lover Mandy
Dancing with a beast of a man
She said, "Papa get your hands off my baby
Papa get your hands off my girl
Papa you best be careful
Or I'll take you out of this world"
Well I ain't no demon sister
But I ain't no angel too
Before you can walk on me
I'm gonna walk out the door on you
Beauty drew a gun from her thigh
There was a struggle and there was a fight
There was a shot and a puddle of blood
And a man laying there on the rug
That was the end of Beauty
A long-legged high-heeled lady
Her body was hung from an oak tree
When the sun went down on Sunday
They dug up Beauty's bones
And put them on display
But bones don't sing and bones don't dance
And now we're ugly here everyday, hah
