I found an old picture, and who do I see
An incredible split image of me
To me, it's just a picture of you in a different way
To you, it's a sweet memory of yesterday

There was pain and suffering, joy and laughter
What we see with our eyes is small

Of all that may be happening, captured in this moment of time
To me, it's just a picture, and imagining is the only way
But only you have the answer, to that moment of yesterday
The way I know you now, were you the same back then

I am now who you were, and my kids will soon be me
