Out in the Ardene, by a snowy hill,
Lived a little alpaca with a holiday thrill.
Her name was Paca, friends called her "La Piraña,"
She dreamed of the North Pole, just ask her mama!
Paca la alpaca wants to pull the sleigh,
She says, "I'm strong, I'll clear the way!"
With bells on her hooves and a scarf of green,
Paca la alpaca is the cutest you've seen!
She practiced her prance, and learned to twirl,
Wore antlers on her head like a Christmas girl.
The reindeer laughed, but she didn't care,
One day she'd be flying up in the air!
Paca la alpaca wants to pull the sleigh,
"I'll climb up high and guide the way!"
With jingles in her fleece and her eyes so bright,
Paca la alpaca will light up the night
Then Santa saw her and chuckled deep,
"An alpaca in the snow? My, what a leap!"
But Paca stood tall and said with cheer,
"I'll be the best reindeer of the year!"
Paca la alpaca leads the sleigh tonight,
Through stars and snow, she's a Christmas sight.
