Old Joy - Bedside Poetry Lyrics

Old Joy - Bedside Poetry Lyrics

Lost inside the Playland once again
In this dream, the forest wind brushed my face at night
I woke up with more than I could understand
The space in between each respiration was more than I could handle

The vindictive hand touched the water and turned it black, the leaves fell to decay
She said "You must bring them back! Give life back to us!"
But the deed is done, don't battle this authority
I've already won

"You've taken all that I had
The beauty of my life will never return!
I know because I've watched this happen before!"
