In the corners of our minds
Lies a darkness undefined
Where gods are fashioned from our fears
To wield control to shed our tears
Oh Job cried out in the night
When his world lost all its light
God took his kin his joy his pride
Left him broken cast aside
Hate the gods we've come to know
Tools of power seeds of woe
Humanity we twist and bend
Forcing truths we can't defend
In temples built with gold and stone
We kneel to gods yet stand alone
Their promises ring hollow stark
As we're led through shadows in the dark
Job stood strong his faith did shake
Why should the innocent suffer break?
His cries echoed lost in the void
As his world burned destroyed
Hate the gods we've come to know
Puppets of those who deal the blow
Humanity we bow our heads
To gods who leave us for the dead
We're pawns in games of power's grip
Our faith a vessel for their trip
But truth will rise and lies will fall
As we break free from their thrall
Job rose from ashes scars did mend
Found strength in love in life's sweet blend
No longer slave to gods' cruel games
His spirit soared free from chains
Years passed by Job's tale was told
Of trials endured of hearts grown cold
But in the end he found his peace
As death's embrace brought sweet release
In his passing Job found rest
A testament to life's cruel test
His story etched in history's scroll
A testament to the human soul
Hate the gods we've come to rue
Their false promises their twisted view
Humanity we'll rise above
Embracing truth and boundless love
