Orestes Pluto - Hike Down Hell & Hind Lyrics

Orestes Pluto - Hike Down Hell & Hind Lyrics
Official

On top of this hill, I reminisce
On times I felt less than thrilled
On situations I'd find unexpectedly precious
Here in my spring
Impossible without bearing my winter
Importuned by chills and shrills
Here's a hike down hell and hind
The hill a child climbs
May once have been a parent's shoulders
Seeking to break through
And see the sights he's too short for
But what happens when the child grows?
I shouldn't have been a kid in year five
Praying to follow a straight line
No matter how peaceable I was beneath my pink
I tired time and I trading healing with the less of meaning
Inside my eyes, I Kent but was frit just fright and right
Sufficient for vermilion veins to vermin my sclera
My family loved me so,
But I didn't discern for how much more
If my act was spilled by my calluses
My iridescent shadow proved presence promises
With no say,
I'd hope the sun couldn't set next to kinsfolk
Under the duo, I couldn't even take up to try the climb
"It's you, not me" instincts whispered as I faded to sleep
That spark outta spring outta fear
I'd waited years to break through,
To see the sights I'd been belittled from sighting
This man and woman would want to avow their wrongs
Or see their child gone
No mastermind till 25, I bore over and over
I sweared and sowed till fate spoke on my 18th birthdate
Speaking truism
"Walk around and explore,
Communicate "I don't want it, the confinement"
Do this, rehabilitate your flinches to power punches"
That single day set ablaze those several nights
That equinox replaced my March-of-a-mill moon boots
Passing seasons, meant little time for habits
Sometimes yes should be nothing but a no
Facing northward, "No," I fancied so
A vernal feel soon thawed my iced cuffs,
Leaving none, rid all
I desperately ran towards what I hadn't known
The winner of my team was I
For my joyride of life in the local parking lot
Hid under the pavement, my maggot-filled log
Sitting shifts finally over
To be human
Amidst all my preferences and emotions
Meant a unique human experience,
Not a soul could swallow
As heaps of reams of sheets I've wished
When I'm not supposed to be my own
I'll smirk, convince thee right then and thereabouts my illusive voodoo
When the true hoodoo is a manly man's power to speak to be heard
When someone like me is put in his place
With behaviorism as its name
I dote on my dead-ends
It greets bona fide, creative climbs and hikes around
I've banded around my truth since then
I've acknowledged my place within the poems I jot down,
As the starring noun
And down by the water,
I've proved the personage wrong
Watered down the assumptions thrown about
To you, I can be nameless,
Natheless to me l'm my own business
With an authentic existence
Tag me and I'll embrace the title
Let's be clear, I won't gurgle to the assumptions
It's an easy spit, like the ones a manly man does for no reason
Except I retain reasons a ton
And my last spit of blood
Belongs on the head of this hill
Like a flag waving, indicating for the more to come.
