Fly through the air
As it reaches its mark
Inching forward
To be at the start
God through it down
To destroy what he found
And it landed on Earth
Surpassing its sound
Cracking the sky
And the ground with a grown
The tears from his eyes
Never ceased to flow
And his heart split
Like the Earth down below
And the fire reared out
Like fresh mistletoe
At Christmas with presents
Now burn
Burn, and he will burn
Sat at the window
Watching the fight
Listening to pain
At the sight of the light
Crashing and burning
Put out by the rain
He did feel his sadness
But was numb to the pain
Watching the window
A thought a brewed
He would be stuck down
From the terror ensued
The flash of the light
Left a mark on his eye
The lightning would penetrate him
Sent from the stars in the sky
And he would burn
Burn, and he would
Burn, and he would
Burn, and he would
Burn, and he would
Burn, and he would
Burn, and he would
Burn, and he would burn
