[ Featuring the Tundra ]
The chief was a hunter
The greatest in the land
He had a beautiful daughter
She was the talk of all the men
It seems her mother had died
When she was very young
Her father raised her well
But something was missing
Then came the man of her dreams
And soon they were married
The whole village lived in peace
Then one day in a storm when the three were alone
The young spoke of his past
That's why the moon chases the sun
His heart reaches out but she's got to run
Two torches burn bright and light up the sky
But he just can't catch her any more
No he'll never touch her any more
To the great chief's amazement
This was his long lost son
And knowing she was his sister
Made them feel guilty for what they'd done
So she grabbed a lit torch and ran into the night
The young man followed close
And that's why the moon chases the sun
His heart reaches out but she's got to run
Two torches burn bright and light up the sky
But he just can't catch her any more
No he'll never touch her any more
They're still there to this day
Her torch the sun his torch the moon
Always passing each other
Hoping to find each other soon
