Whisper of trees as you're passing by
Telling their stories of wars and lies
Humming in the steets and you turn to look
Every driving car is an unfinished book
Distinguished by time, you may fear
Never touching the second hemisphere
You wish to fly and spread the wing
You tame the tide beneath the skin
You dive off a cliff to see what's beneath
The water aches, causes dead breath
And as the sun burnes down
Waves upon and you might drown
Time to leave, time to run
So "peace" tell me, what have you become?
Among the dead the people live
In the woods I take a walk
By now I'm a tree and here for a talk
