Lo, for we remember
Our kin within the fire
Tortured at our strongest
As the Sun burnt even higher
Unwelcome hands; tainted & soiled
Held us within their clasp
Though our Spirit still remains
As we're always out of grasp
Delving deep into woodland
Across barren pyre, amongst ruins
Of a fallen God's spire
Men of steel, Mothers of nurture
Hold no need to keep pushing further
For this soil lays embedded
Cultivated by myth & lore
To feed many a future harvest
Of the tales and folk
Of times before
We shall reawake, to reconnect
With every single birth
For we are rooted here
Deep beneath this earth
