On this earth we are a blistering boil
We've built a self made prison
Of poisoned salty soil
We've filled the seven seas
With trash and filth and oil
These contraptions offer solace
From this great turmoil
They can wash the world of waste and plastic
Enough half measures we need something drastic
In the lab the night is growing dim
Sleep drags at my eyes darkness sets in
There is no room for underestimating
We all rely on this great undertaking
They can consume all toxic biomass
To return the atmosphere from ash
The robots self-replicate
They consume all living fate
Instead of waste they devour all
Leaving mankind's cities to fall
They consume all biomass
And turn the planet to ash
