I thought I had it all
It was simple as can be
I was running
Fast and free
I was a rat
Both bio and bot
Faster than a cat
But smart, I was not
Tested on and hurt
A scientists wet dream
They thought that they could
Turn me into a machine
I was not going to accept
What they did to me
I was going to run
And be free
I escaped from my cage
Running away
In a blinding rage
I looked around and I saw
The things I had know
For all my life
A scientist had left his meal
On the table beside my cage
A long stick of bread and veal
I tasted it in rage
In in my anger I took a bite
To show the scientist my spite
After I had filled myself
I ran to escape
The door was open ajar
I dashed to the grass and broomrape
I smelled the sweet air
And saw the beautiful sky
Little did I know
I was to die
I ran onto a black rock
Exploring like Mr. Spock
And I looked to my left
And I looked to my right
And I saw a bus
Flying into my sight
I knew it was too late
So I charged head on
To meet my fate
Goodbye
Sweet world
I needed you
And I got you, yeah
So please
Sweet world
Help me say goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
