Walking down a cold and winding road
A familiar haze
Surrounds me, it never seems to leave my side
My breath escapes me, shivers come and go
I see the lights that signal home, they've grown closer
Uncertainty, grows as I see forced light
Strange visions now blind my sight
"Your blood must be spilled"
Constant fear holds everything I do
I'm not alone
I feel this time is coming soon
But where to go
I can't go back, it's far too late
That haze has gone
This time, I've learned my fate
But to who
I fear what I've seen is a horrid allusion for what's to come, should I be worried?
I don't know, it might have just been my imagination, but it's never been so vivid before
What will become of me if I have a target on my back
I don't understand why, if this is true, I've done nothing wrong
I can't think
My minds blurred
"Lock the doors", oh as if that would help
"Shut up, I'm fine!"
"I'm fine"
"I'd die"
Tears crawl from my eyes
I'm numb, shock surrounds me
Fear has a hold on me
My blood must not be spilled
As dawn arrives, I know that I am no longer safe
I walk down my stairs after a sleepless night, and I see her
Tears crawl from my eyes
I'm numb, shock surrounds me
Fear has a hold on me
My blood must not be spilled
