You are the potter, I am the clay
You take my hand Lord, Lead me on your way
I can't imagine my life without you
Into your hands, all of my plans
Embracing the breakthrough
You were the hand that formed me You woke me up this morning
You were the womb that bore me Look at how you restored me
Like an antique, I was drowning in sin and I can't breathe
I was running through life like a stampede Holding on by a rope till my hands bleed
Man, bitter roots in the soil and it ran deep
I was dying of thirst, till you poured living water in my canteen
Now I'm refreshed, I could be blessed
On the wings of an eagle is how I egress
Life could have be full and I'm wondering what could be next
You could be greater, I could be less
You are the potter, I am the clay
You take my hand Lord, Lead me on your way
I can't imagine my life without you
Into your hands, all of my plans
Embracing the breakthrough
Imagine a portrait trying to paint itself
Or imagine a picture trying to take itself
Or imagine a book that was trying to write itself
Cause that's how it looks when I'm trying to live life myself
When you are the author of life, you are the source of the light
Wonder where I would be if no one ever brought me to Christ
I'd been lost in a fight, yeah but the cross was the price
That you paid for me, somehow you made a way for me
Something like clay, how you shaping me, and you wait for me so patiently
Oh you take me in your hands
Gave me a better way, before my life began
You chose me, you chose me Lord, I just can't comprehend
Please take me, I'm yours, I'm all yours
Reading of Deuteronomy 30
Take me, I'm yours
Please take me, I'm yours
