Rob Mulders - Sunday Morning 5 A.M. Lyrics

Rob Mulders - Sunday Morning 5 A.M. Lyrics

African mornings are famous for their light
It strikes without warning and conquers the night
Asian mornings are famous as well
Not for it's light scorings but for it's smell
American mornings are seven hours late
And Australian mornings serve dinner on a silver plate
European mornings are divided by style , to keep up
You have to face it every once and a while

Sunday morning , 5 a.m. , I'm running down hills
Looking for thrills , wondering who I am
Sunday morning , 5 a.m. , I'm alone in this show
Got no place to go ,and I'm not one of them

I should be asleep but I'm in it too deep
The treasure I found , no movement no sound
It's peace and quiet and me
And it's mine to keep , finders keepers
Life can be sweet with wet grass under your feet
Away from the beat , from the circus , the speed
The action on the street , the violence , the heat
Back to the basics , you need

When it rains you will change to a mood with pains
Sad refrains and lonelines remains
But the sun low in the sky will be breakfast for the eyes
It will satisfy , that explains
The day breaks , Mother Nature awakes
It's an unusual poetical personal festival
Equal to that commercial on 'Cornflakes'
