It was another Saturday night in 1964
We all went to the people's park a dance hall for us all
They played all the songs we loved
We danced and had a ball
But in the dark corner was little Jane
She was not a top-notch girl
I am sad to say
We hardly noticed her at all or the things she tried to say
She never was like the other girls
The one you asked out to date
Yes in the lost and found corner was Jane
Down at the dance school called Blueberry hill
She met a boy lets call him Bill
A light of love did spark
You know love is blind
Everybody wants to dance with her
But she only dance with Billy boy
Oh yeah that's Jane oh yeah its Billy and Jane
There has been many Saturday nights since 1964
We sometimes visit the peoples park the dance hall for us all
They still play the songs we love
We dance and have a ball
Always on the dance floor, we see Billy and Jane
In the magic world of fairy tales
Miracles happens most every day
I believe in fairy tales
I believe in love sweet love
