Came down from Freedom Planet
I got trapped by gravity
I am lost without a map
Searching for a friend to guide me
I wandered through Misfit Alley
Searching for meaning in everything
But each thing that I find while my dumpster dive
Only makes me feel empty
Cornered by a snake, my pain subsides
I make with him a deal, pay him a pretty, pretty bribe
My life he will take if his next meal I make
To fly back to my Freedom Planet
To my love, my beautiful rose
I can't hold her, but my presence she knows
My heart just flies when she smiles so wide
And in the night I'll be her reading light
And we'll sit on our Freedom Planet
She'll brew tea as I sing beneath the cool canopy
Of the moon and the stars each morning
Home on our planet and living in all of our glory
My love, my beautiful rose
I can't see you but your smile I know
Shines bright because we are home
Down from this planet I'll never, ever go again
Shines bright
Shines bright
