Even though I tell myself
Ive taken time to give this thought
I cant but feel
Im still put here on the spot
And so it seems that it's a dream
To leave and start anew
I must admit
That doesn't sound too bad, its true
But keep in mind
What you leave behind
Theres more than mice
And worn down floorboards here you'll find
And if I leave
Ill never see
Anyone I know again
I fear honestly
If you choose now
That you want to move out
To settle your mind
That's fine by me, just know
This is as far as I go
So leave me behind
Then again I guess
Its not that far to head back here
A little travel time
To shoot shit with a beer
And yes indeed, some new scenery
Would be ideal
This white washed neighborhood
Has somehow lost appeal
But with that said
What have we got there
A cheaper rent
Just cannot wash away my care
Is that worth
What could be worse
Than a pioneer
With no followers to lure
If you choose now
That you want to move out
To settle your mind
That's fine by me, just know
This is as far as I go
So leave me behind
Id hate to say this
But in terms of changes
Im not going to lie
It comes down to who you know
And not cash or where you go
So youre wasting your time
No, Don't Go, You'll see
Everything we need is right here
