At first, we're born innately inquisitive absorbing information we receive
You forge your youth with dated ideologies, fearful that the world will not agree
Drown your kin, with all the inconsistencies deflected from the "us" and thrown on "them;"
You build up walls, to protect your innocent, the hatred in your heart will soon seethe
Infanticide, reality, with blinders locked, can't navigate freely
Apositize, brutality, your seeds of hate
You soon will find, the sheltered mind starts questioning, you redirect until you must concede
The quick response, you point out all the differences, falsehoods to justify the means
Fear replaced, compassion curiosity, solidify desires to discrete
Trapped within, a rotten society, antiquated hatred the disease.
Infanticide, reality, with blinders locked, can't navigate freely
Apositize, brutality, your seeds of hate
You've got another thing coming
Won't take this kneeling down
When pushed to the edge your crawling
Flee from your tempered state
When the hatred locked within
Passed the limit, can't rescind
Look for an outlet, passed the gates
Wished you could start again
You build up but can't obstruct
When you were born, void of any malice, tabula rasa was the starting point
They buried you deep, propelled their baggage on to you, the burden passed on like a torch
It'll burn inside until you find the courage; to breaks the cycle now you can breath
Unarmed, alone, at last, you see the opening, immediately you know you must go
Infanticide, reality, with blinders locked, Can't navigate freely
Apositize, brutality, your seeds of hate, populate seething
Burndown, so you can see
Passed the walls, you'll be free
You've got another thing coming
Won't take this kneeling down
When pushed to the edge your crawling
Flee from your tempered state
When the hatred locked within
Passed the limit, can't rescind
Look for an outlet, passed the gates
Wished you could start again
You build up but can't obstruct
