I wake up in the morning to the sound of chiming bells
I look out and see on the roof footsteps in the snow that fell
Theres laughter coming from below so I head to the stairwell
I happen upon my family with their endless stories to tell
And ooooooh
Its the magic of Christmas
Oooooh
It feels something like this
Dad's ready with the camcorder to capture the memories
Mom passes out the presents that were left beneath the tree
The little ones squirming around waiting less than patiently
Have yet to learn that it is better to give than to recieve
Ooooooh
Its the magic of Christmas
Ooooooh
It feels something like this
Ooooooh
Its the magic of Christmas
Ooooooh
It feels something like this
The company dwindle away leaving us final few
We gather 'round the fire place warming our fingers cold and blue
So comforting with just outside a winter wonderland in view
I ask my father whats his favorite gift he said spending time with you
Ooooooh
Its the magic of Christmas
Ooooooh
It feels something like this
Ooooooh
Its the magic of Christmas
Ooooooh
Its feels something like this
