Irregular Spheres
Dance back and forth
They rise to the surface
They burst and vanish
With every second
The rays fade
Strangled by the deep
And then I wake up!
These thoughts emerge when it's dark
When my hand is invisible to the eye
When valleys and mountains hide
Then up ahead a flare ignites
In those moments I see no alternative
A distant point as my sole guidance
A mirage of sweet relief
Obscures catastrophe
The water presses the air from my lungs
As I descend it rolls of my lips
I lay my head on the sea bed
In few days time
Blanketed in sand
My toes curl around the ledge
But I will make it to sunrise
Flooded by the light of day
I push those thoughts away
