Neon skies and crowded streets
Endless faces we'll never meet
Concrete jungle iron walls
Echoes bounce in empty halls
Skyscrapers touching heaven's door
But down below we're craving more
Social feeds and silent nights
In the haze of city lights
Lonely in the big city lights
Everybody's looking but no one sees
Lost in the crowd on restless nights
Lonely hearts in big city dreams
Central Park or Sunset Strip
In these dreams we lose our grip
Taxis speed and subways run
While we hide from everyone
Searching for a friendly face
But it feels like empty space
Happy hours shadows grow
In the city love moves slow
Lonely in the big city lights
Everybody's talking but no one hears
Lost in the noise on neon nights
Lonely hearts hiding in their fears
