The desert sun engulfs me in it's blinding flames
My eyes melt
Cranial caverns erupt
Boiling bile steams from them
Dripping down the groove of my gums drenching crimson sands beneath me
A lonely lament
Bloated bursting open
An oasis emerges
My gaping chest pulses with vermiform life
The microbial aroma tickles the noses of curious mice
Longing to taste the meaty morsels I've been brooding
Frenzied scampering awakens rattlesnakes underground
Who race toward the feast under the eager eyes of a hawk
A vulture scrapes her beak over the remainder of my being
Her pale chick desperate for mother to return such is the way of life
Reflections of the moon wander with the winds that breathe with my scattered flesh
Shifting sands erode my bones to dust and I've become more than I ever was
Take your final breath bacteria breed until there's nothing left
Maggots rise from the dirt to eat your flesh be one with Earth
Beyond mortal comprehension in nephesh isolation
As man made construct
All will be ash to ash all will be dust to dust
We will become more than this death
As Earth rips our souls from our flesh
From our rotten flesh
We will become more than this death
As Earth rips our souls from our flesh
From our rotten flesh
