The Singing Skull - The Mirror Lyrics

The Singing Skull - The Mirror Lyrics

The Mirror

*(Verse 1)*
In an ancient shop, a man did roam,
Among the relics far from home,
A dusty mirror caught his eye,
Its glass reflected shadows high.

An old man warned with shaking head,
"Don't take that mirror to your bed,
It holds a curse, a twisted fate,
Look too long, it's far too late."

*(Chorus)*
Beware the mirror's cursed glass,
For what it shows may come to pass,
It feeds on fear, distorts the truth,
A doorway hiding endless youth.
Look too deep and you will see,
The darkest side of your destiny.

*(Verse 2)*
The man ignored the warning sign,
And bought the mirror, thinking fine,
He placed it near his bed that night,
Its surface gleamed in candlelight.

But as he stared, the image blurred,
A whisper soft, a voice unheard,
A twisted face looked back at him,
Cold and cruel with eyes so dim.

*(Chorus)*
Beware the mirror's cursed glass,
For what it shows may come to pass,
It feeds on fear, distorts the truth,
A doorway hiding endless youth.
Look too deep and you will see,
The darkest side of your destiny.

*(Bridge)*
Each night he gazed, it changed once more,
A monster knocking at his door,
His own reflection turned to dread,
The mirror showing what lay ahead.

He tried to smash the glass apart,
But found himself trapped in the dark,
Now his soul is bound inside,
The mirror's curse, nowhere to hide.

*(Chorus)*
Beware the mirror's cursed glass,
For what it shows may come to pass,
It feeds on fear, distorts the truth,
A doorway hiding endless youth.
Look too deep and you will see,
The darkest side of your destiny.

*(Outro)*
Now in the shop, the mirror waits,
For one more soul to meet its fate,
A warning whispered, lost in time-
Beware the mirror's silent crime.
[End]
