Point
Five letters
One syllable
Point
What is the point when the only point is to find the point
This point, that point
Your point, my point
But which one is THE point
P-O-I-N-T
Five letters ended by a "t"
All seemingly form a word that exists to define the meaning of me
But how can this be when the meaning of me is to wake, eat, work, play, sleep, breathe
Or is it
Constrained in a society that places more value on the advancement of technology
Than it does on the water in the sea, land beneath my feet, animals in the trees
Or on the point of me
Or on the point of he
On the point of she
So then, what is the point
Perhaps the idea of a point only exists as just that
An idea
An idea that only exists because our thoughts validate it as a real concept
I was not born in search of the point
I developed an insatiable desire for the point
Today I break free of this desire
The point is a word
No longer a concept by which I will be forced to live my life
In order to find to seek to want to become
To become now means to be as was always intended by me and not society
So then, what is the point
Point is just a word
A word that you can find in the dictionary but no longer as the guiding force of me
