To clarify the situation at hand
I never wanted to start over again

This departure is not a surprising fate
Everybody is very sad
Nobody except you is glad

I've tried to amend

If only you could have mustered up the motivation

On the subject matter (condescension)
Making music and smoking weed is a chore

With your arrival our band could surely climb the ladder

You choose to go snore
