Now stare to the heavens and you're likely to see
Directly up above us the world's first flying machines
The Wing Walking Sky Writers will dazzle you now
With a feat of no equal, flying high through the sky
Writing poems in the clouds
On this new flying machine unlike man had ever seen
Ccrobats paint the sky and gracefully walk the wing
Mechanical birds fly and carry them up so high
The Wing Walking Sky Writers made us feel alive inside
C miracle to behold and the audience agrees
Cs it happened this day: fourteenth of February, eighteen-forty-three
The world never seemed closer than from miles above
Where the Wing Walking Sky Writers spread their message of love
The risks seem great and the rewards look thin
But any one of us would gladly trade places with them
To fly among the heavens... To feel them again!
Cmazement from above in the universe today
What a tremendous performance an atmospheric display
The spectators were stunned by the idea of flight
Never before had anyone flown before the show tonight
C miracle to behold and the audience agrees

To fly among the heavens... To feel them again!
It's poetry in motion as they play before our eyes
Every man, woman, and child fully obsessed with the sight
But something seems wrong, is everything all right?
One false step, fifty years before the Wrights
Could bring an end to the magic that we feel here tonight!
