We can agree that I'm not you
And agree that you're not me
So let's put aside that understanding
And look a bit more deeply
You're not entirely different than me
At the very least we're both human
So I'm not entirely different from you
Because that would need to be our conclusion
As humans we have some common qualities
That needs to be true on certain levels
If we agree there's love in all human beings
Then we share a certain type of love together
If I love some of my own personal qualities
Then I love the same qualities you have as me
And if that's a basis for us to love each other
Then that's the basis for world peace
But what if I'm a different race than you
But, wait, we already said the human race
But what if I believe a different religious truth
But we just agreed in some ways we're all the same
I can love the qualities I share with you
Therefore I can't hate you as a human being
Because if hating you is what I choose to do
Then I'm hating your qualities that are in me
