Sunshine
Sunshine incarnate
Heaven sighs with a smile, earth stills for a while when you look my way
Butterfly wings
Sprinkles of summer rain
Flow like the breeze carries the memories that we make
Silence
I sit here speechless
Grain of sand in a wave at the mercy of fate to be swept away
Silk on a string, hues of sunset on a lake
My heart it sings, 'gainst all my logic has to say
Gentle brush of magic bottled in your fingertips
The worms between our ears seem like they've known each other for years
Quiet understanding settles in the air above
Cause it's not like I like you, but if you really wanna know
It'd be okay
I guess it'd be fine
If you think you'd wanna stay and step on the crunchy leaves on the pathway
It'd be nice
I think it'd be good for the sunset to be shared and the sunrises to come with you
