A vast beyond, uncertainty
Above the world's a star parade
I want to go on a crusade

Exploring in a rocket ship
Moving, diving, dodgin', dips
Departing Planet Earth alone
So I can witness the unknown

Distant view is so attractive
Safe inside my rocket pod
I look upon to space with awe

The milky way a hazy grey
Without a sign of night or day
A frightning swirl of stars in space
A sight I see here, face-to-face...

Piercing through the black and void
Throughout a belt of asteroids
The landing planet in my sight
Is just a twinkle in the night

I've now arrived on Planet Mars
My final waypoint to the stars
I take a step and lightly tread
Upon the planet laden red

And as my mission's now complete
I rest my eyes, and drift to sleep
High above, the stars will shine
