The stormy night of a sunny day
In the northern side of the railway
A gathering was starting to form
People from around the city
Coming and going tirelessly
Their coats were soaked from walking in the storm
Rosemary Station
Where people go to get to where they're going
Rosemary Station
We're all estranged and don't care about knowing
On the floor, a man begs for money
To feed himself and his family
And the people just carry on by
A lost child searches for her mom
When she sees the man sitting all alone
She reaches in her pocket and cries
Rosemary Station
Where people go to get to where they're going
Rosemary Station
We're all estranged and don't care about knowing
When the signal blows and the train departs
And Rosemary station empties out
To get ready for the next group to carry into the night
All that's left is our memories
Of things we should've done, of things we did
And then we let this train of life carry us into the night
