The landscape that we are heading through has been consumed by fear
Everything is severe, our direction is unclear
We are divided, not united, it seems our bonds have disappeared
But we can persevere if you have ears to hear

We are living in a day and age where everyone's Disturbed
There is good cause for concern
And it may seem Absurd
But in all of this insanity, there something I have learned
When you heal yourself, you heal the world.

Safe to say, even the blind can see we have problems with our society
Depression and anxiety are how we now feel normally
But if we spend some more time quietly, connect your spirit privately
To quiet the calliope, you may even want to try sobriety

All i can really tell you is what I have observed
Answers have emerged
But you need to discern
Life need not be suffering, there is more that we deserve
When you heal yourself, you heal the world.

They may say we're a culture of narcissists
Hope for the future has been dismissed
But there are ways we can resist
The change we want won't come by forcing it
Taking care of yourself is how you can assist
The human race isn't finished yet
You may even question if God exists,
But i say Love is why we have all this

The harsh truth about reality is that it's always been a mess
There's no need for distress it's just the way things coalesce
While some use their mortality to obsess and to oppress
We need to ask ourselves the question if we will blame or bless

Like waves upon the ocean, the tide it can be turned
Our connection can be returned, and a new world can emerge
If you focus your attention and shed a few more Concerns
When you heal yourself, you heal the world.
