Absence of light
My hands around my own neck
Re create me
From ash silt stone and fire
Place me not in sordid dust
When life shall cease to be
But where for I, my body trust
But in the deepest sea
The sea shall restore all her dead
And from its depths shall rise
And my they mount these rays of light
And dwell above the skys
Royal robe
Coiled rope
Following the wings of
Slaughtered hope
Brothers ghost
Wide eyed and blood soaked
Shipwrecked for many years
Flung landward from the deep
Not even dead may I forget
The shores that know not sleep
Beneath the cliffs that break the surf
My body found a grave
Dug by hands of greater men
From far off greater days
Erase the man
