Once again I'm stuck in the post box
Looking for letters from someone
But those letters never come to me
'Cause the postman has stolen them, no doubt
So if you see me - actually my legs - sticking out from the post box
Could you please be so kind
And pull me out
It was an ordinary morning
When I saw the postman Pat coming
So I rushed out to see
If he had brought something for me - not a chance
I dug and dug, and went deeper
And suddenly I couldn't move
I tried to get out, but I was stuck in the post box
Once in the post box I had a dream
All the unwritten letters came to me
All those words, all the impressions I'd missed
All those funny and sad things that had happened
And the next morning the postman came again
And I asked him to help me out
But he only laughed at me
And went away
So here I am
Stuck in the post box
Looking for letters from someone
But those letters never come to me
'Caouse the postman keeps stealing them, I'm sure
So if you see me - Actually my legs - sticking out from the post box
Could you please be so kind and pull me out?
