Stone after stone her tower takes flight
Towards the starlight
Blood, sweat, and bone, her ivory home
This rickety loft
Time and time again this desolate land
Has taken its toll
And though she may fall
With stubborn resolve
She clings to her perch for life
Down, looking down, on faces abound
She culls and she crowns
Her tongue rants and raves, can never be stayed
A red guillotine
Crazed, and deranged, her subjects estranged
She rules from above
And though she may fall
With stubborn resolve
She clings to her perch for life
Upside down, inside out
Her faithful crowd never heard a single sound
