We all had nicknames we tag 'em up on freight trains

Rockin' baggy grays and blacks
Invisible mics were smashed
Drinkin' forties, pourin' out half for cats that passed
That number's doubled tripled since then
Death will come and cripple your fam
You try to hold on time will slip through your hands
Probation officers, boot camps and house arrest
These things made us grow up too fast, they put hair on our chest
Through the dark, I can feel You're light
Through the fire I am refined
