Started off crawling then I learned to walk
From toddling steps to running I didn't baulk
As a kid my first wheels a bike so small
Pedaling through life never fearing to fall
At six I rode with training wheels feeling bold
By seven they were off my confidence told
Each milestone a marker in the race of time
From two feet to two wheels each moment mine
Through the years felt the change
From infancy to adulthood rearranged
Every step every ride a part of the ride
From crawling to driving life's stride
At nine scootering through the streets wind in my hair
The thrill of speed beyond compare
With twelve came the bike bigger and faster
Already then I knew no obstacle could outlast us
At fourteen a moped freedom on two wheels
Exploring the world no brakes no shields
Then at sixteen the roar of a motorbike
A taste of freedom a feeling I'd like
Through the years felt the change
From infancy to adulthood rearranged
Every step every ride a part of the ride
From crawling to driving life's stride
Years may pass but the spirit stays strong
From childhood dreams to where I belong
From crawling to driving the journey's long
But I'll keep moving forward that's where I belong
