In the halls of Philadelphia, in the summer heat
The Founders gathered, a nation incomplete
The weight of history on their hands
To carve the future, to take a stand
They fought the crown, they fought the chain
But freedom's light must not be in vain
They wrote the words to bind the land
A Constitution, by their hands
"We the People", the words they chose
To stand for freedom, to oppose
The tyranny they once had known
To guard the rights that we now own
They built a nation, strong and free
With justice, law, and liberty
The Constitution stands so tall
One nation's rise, one tyrant's fall
Before the ink, there was the fight
For liberty's spark to reignite
The Stamp Act stole, the Tea was tossed
In Boston's streets, the line was crossed
But as they rose to claim the land
They knew the future would demand
A safeguard set, for times to come
So no more kings would rise from none
"We the People", the words they chose
To stand for freedom, to oppose
The tyranny they once had known
To guard the rights that we now own
They built a nation, strong and free
With justice, law, and liberty
The Constitution stands so tall
One nation's rise, one tyrant's fall
Checks and balances, power split
No one branch would ever sit
As judge and ruler over all
They feared the rise, they feared the fall
The people's voice, the guiding hand
Freedom spread across the land
No king, no crown, no iron rule
They built a land where the people pull
The Bill of Rights, hard to defend
Ensured the law would never bend
Speech, arms, and freedom to believe
The Founders' gift, their grand reprieve
They thought of futures, far ahead
To stop the rise of kings instead
Of letting power stay unchecked
They built a system to protect
"We the People", the words they chose
To stand for freedom, to oppose
The tyranny they once had known
To guard the rights that we now own
They built a nation, strong and free
With justice, law, and liberty
The Constitution stands so tall
One nation's rise, one tyrant's fall
The Founders knew, from where they came
The need for freedom, not just a name
They built this land with fire and grace
A Constitution, our saving place
To live in freedom, to rise and be
The nation forged from tyranny
The grand document penned leaving nothing to fate
For the people to rule, these United States
WE THE PEOPLE!!!
